K 2013: New Grippers for the Plastics Industry Flexibility – Compatibility – Space-Saving: Robot Hand Kit (EOAT) Novelties At K 2013 ASS Maschinenbau GmbH presents novelties of the original Robot Hand Kit (EOAT). The aim of the new components is: flexible use, compatibility to other gripper parts and the reduced space for building robot hands. The novelties can be visited in hall 10 at booth 10J22. The Gripper GRZ 10-08 C with sensor and the Stroke Unit HEU 10 have to be pointed out. They both impress by its small size. The new Adapter HEU 16 A XY is notable too: it can be used to build a XY stroke unit. Besides that for example there are new gripper jaws and stroke units. The new gripper parts make it easy to build Robot Hands that match the customers´ requirements. At the ASS booth there are shown several robot hands as they are used in the automotive industry. For example there is a robot hand for de-moulding bumpers and a robot hand completely made of special and customized parts. Besides that ASS offers informations about leightweight robot hands completely made of polyamide (SLS Laser Sinter). As known ASS has a high quality value. About all components made of aluminium are anodized and many parts are made of hardcoated aluminum. ASS develops and produces all ASS gripper parts at the all new headquarter. The ASS gripper parts are produced and delivered according to the EG-Machinery Directive.
