The new Giant among the lifters at the international exhibition AMB 2016
ASSFALG exhibits on the exhibition AMB 2016 in Stuttgart, the international show for the metal working industry, in hall 6 C61, and presents for the first time his new magnetic lifter SB 500. This small, solid and handy battery lifting magnet lifts by using manually the pushbuttons or automatically. 500 kg flat material. So that, the SB 500 is the new Giant among the lifters.
The electropermanent battery lifting magnet is suitable in a load range of 500 kg for flat materials and 200 kg for round materials. Using a current pulse of less than one second the electro-permanent battery lifter SB 500 from ASSFALG magnets may be switched manually using pushbuttons or automatically. Although during transport of the load no current flows, the workpiece remains safely clamped like a permanent magnet. Up to 1000 ON/OFF switching cycles are possible before recharging the internal battery using the supplied mains charger.
Professional advantages:

- A built in security mechanism prevents switching when the load is suspended. The electro-permanent technology maintains full holding force even during power failure, therefore unintentional release of the load is prevented.
