The BBG Group is an international successful group with its headquarters located in Kapfenberg/Austria. The subsidary FAVRE SARL is located in Bezons/France.
The BBG Group is specialized in products for the construction- and quarry industry, the furnace- and steel industry as well as the mining industry. With around 70 employees the company develops, produces and distributes low vibration and sound insulated pneumatic hammers in various sizes. Further, the product range contains pneumatic and hydraulic tap hole drilling devices for steel- and non-ferrous furnaces, machines for the repair of tap holes of electric furnaces and steel converters as well as special products for the mining industry.
Research & development are given very high priority and are a strategic instrument for our company’s success. The objective of our research- and development activities is to keep increasing the additional value of our products for our customers. Based on the individual demands of our customers we realize technologically sophisticated, customized products and increase our competitiveness in industries like the steel industry, drilling technology and construction trade. Additionally we cooperate with universities and specialist institutes with the purpose of further developing our products and services, by this safeguarding our technological leadership.
The roots of today’s BBG reach as far back as to the year 1919. Then, the Austrian company for the production of pneumatic tools was founded by the Böhler brothers. In time, it became an internationally successful industrial company.
