The world’s leading manufacturer of manual lever circular saws Behringer Eisele is putting its considerable engineering expertise behind high-performance cutting with the VMS 350 PV. Using saw blades with diameters of up to 350 millimetres, the mitre saw is capable of cutting round, square and rectangular material of varying dimensions using hydropneumatic feed:

As in all the other models of this series, in the VMS 350 PV Behringer also opted to use its tried and tested worm gear with shock absorbing feature. The hydraulic, damped-action saw blade feed ensures the necessary feed consistency per tooth. For the user, these factors add up to substantially higher cutting output coupled with a longer saw blade service life. A newly designed double clamping vice system ensures ultra-precise cuts, particularly also when using carbide-tipped saw blades.

Equipped with this powerful drive and an output of 1.4 to 1.9 kW, there is sufficient power to cope with even the heaviest duty cutting operations with ease – making the VMS 350 PV a universally applicable machine capable of addressing the widest conceivable variety of sawing needs in different materials such as stainless steel, structural steel, aluminium and brass.

The saw blade guide with safety switch swivels upwards to offer free access for fast saw blade changeover. The ease of access also substantially simplifies setting of the chip clearing roller.

A wide range of available peripherals such as feed and discharge roller conveyors, length stops, manual measurement devices and electronic measurement systems simplify precise, economical working at the VMS 350 PV. One example is a length measurement stop in a special lightweight design. This allows bar stock with cutting lengths of up to 500 or 1000 mm to be more quickly sawn to precise measurements. Material support stands simplify the handling of bulky parts, and different roller conveyor models on the feed and discharge side ensure that the world of automation is opened up even to smaller-scale circular sawing operations. For even greater convenience, sawing assignments can be performed with the aid of a electronic length stop which is also capable of functioning as a pusher (VMS 350 PV / ELA-P).

Fully automatic execution complete with feed device makes this machine ideally suited for single or series cuts. The cut-off length and piece numbers can be conveniently entered in the PLC controller and automatically processed.
