New Pneumatic Mini Beltsander
SMALL, LIGHTWEIGHT AND LOW-MAINTENANCE: THE NEW BELT SANDER IN MINI FORMAT
BIAX, specialist for industrial deburring solutions, presents its latest product development.
Weighing just 500 grams, the HB 3 is a flyweight among belt grinders. At the same time, the machine is surprisingly powerful and quiet. BIAX dispenses with an angular gearbox in this model; the motor sits as a direct drive in the angular head. This saves wear parts and thus increases the service life.
The user can choose from four different grinding arms for belt lengths of 305 mm (for 3 mm, 6 mm and 12 mm belt widths) and one grinding arm for belt lengths of 370 mm (for 6 mm and 12 mm belt widths). The grinding arm can be changed without tools. Abrasive belts are available in different grits as normal corundum and ceramic grit+, as well as two abrasive fleeces (fine and medium).
The machine is designed for permanent industrial use for deburring and finishing and plays out its advantages especially when machining components made of aluminum and steel with narrow places that are difficult to access.
See and test the machine on our booth at EMO: Hall 4, Booth number C55
