The real time data captured can be saved, evaluated and clearly visualized close to the machine. Sensitive information can therefore remain in the company. Predictive maintenance and other I4.0 use cases can be created quickly and easily using the rule-based actions via the web interface of the DAS. Manufacturer-independent communication with sensors, controls and higher-level IT systems is made via the open standards OPC-UA and PPMP. In the bundle with the IoT Gateway from Bosch Rexroth, the DAS achieves the highest connectivity, for example for subsequent MES connection of existing non-networked machines for example.
Using the monitoring and analysis function of the DAS, machines and processes can be made transparent in a cost efficient way, remote diagnostics carried out reliably and continuous improvement processes introduced. Users can find and remove bottlenecks in their production, record the quality data specific to the project or stabilize and optimize processes. The diagnosis logbook with the top 10 failure messages aims for fast process stabilization. The monitoring tool "Machine OEE Index" visualizes the success of the measures effected by the analysis.
