Bosch Rexroth awarded as Innovator 2017
Bosch Rexroth is one of the most innovative German companies. This is the result of a survey of 2,000 representatives of innovative award winning companies, 250 experts of the Berlin Institute for Innovation and Technology (iit) as well as 20,000 managers and staff from the Statista "Expert Circle" panel. No other survey combines more business insiders’ and specialists’ judgment. In addition, 50 innovation awards were evaluated for this analysis.
Bosch Rexroth won the "Innovator 2017" award with the highest score of four stars and was mentioned and recommended exceptionally frequently. From many thousands of named companies from 20 industries, only 424 made the ranking. In the field of mechanical and plant engineering Bosch Rexroth and only seven other companies achieved the highest score of four stars, which only a quarter of all those awarded could achieve. As part of the Bosch Group, Bosch Rexroth is also named as one of the 20 leading companies in the areas of processes, corporate culture, services and products. "At Bosch Rexroth, cultural transformation and innovative capacity go hand in hand. This is because innovation requires a corporate culture that promotes entrepreneurial thinking and provides associates with the opportunity to stray from the beaten path," says Rolf Najork Chairman of the Executive Board at Bosch Rexroth AG.
For the first time, small and medium-sized enterprises were included in the survey, which further increased the number of possible candidates. However, purely research-based institutes were not considered because they are already working on new solutions and technologies. The results of the survey are summarized in the special "Innovation" edition of the economic journal "brand eins".
