Chatillon is a registered trademark of AMETEK, Inc.  AMETEK acquired Chatillon in 1997. The John Chatillon & Sons Company was formed in 1835 in New York and 2010 marked the 175th anniversary of Chatillon products and innovations in force measurement and weighing.  The Chatillon brand is part of the AMETEK Test & Calibration Instruments business unit.

Chatillon force measurement products are engineered and manufactured in Largo, Florida USA. Chatillon weighing scale products are also engineered and manufactured in Largo, FL with additional manufacturing at Mexico and China facilities.

Chatillon products are targeted to production and quality control applications where customers have a need for accurate, reliable and easy-to-use instrumentation to assess their products’ performance and physical attributes in both destructive and non-destructive testing.
           
Chatillon products are also used in incoming inspection to verify and validate components used in the production processes. These attributes are important for consumer safety, product life-cycle management and general form, fit and function compliance with published specifications.
