Our "LaserProbe4500" -Laserscan system for contactless 3D laser scanning of objects with a laser to produce three-dimensional computer models and create model files these are then suitable for processing in a CNC milling system. Operating principle of the laser scanner:
The laser senor of the laser scanning system is placed on the movement system of the machine. During scanning, the CNC system (from 0.01mm) moves the laser sensor line by line in a customer defined distance above the prototype of the object.
The laser sensor of the laser scanner measures the distance (Z-Koordinat) to the object surface.
Data acquisition of the laser sensor and sensors are synchronized movement (XY coordinates), the result is sent to the PC via USB port.
Thus the XYZ coordinates determine the location of the laser-scanned surface.
This will create a digital prototype, which is saved as a point file as well as a conventional STL format, which can be used for further processing with CNC.
Filter:

The appropriate minimal quantity lubrication system, which is fastened with a fixing screw will fit all CNC milling machines.
It can be operated with eg a small compressor, where a minimal air pressure of 2 bar is necessary. Fine tuning of amount and air pressure can be adjusted via nozzle as well as switch.
All tubing is made of stainless steel and therefore resistant to corrosion. The suction side is equipped with a filter. If extensions are needed, ordinary plastic tubing or appropriate high pressure tubing can be used.
An ordinary ‘biker drinking flask’ is sufficient to use as a vessel.
The minimal quantity lubrication system will be used most when dealing with soft materials which are difficult to mill, such as aluminium in pure form or copper.
These materials can not dispense a minimal lubricating system!
