At the SPS – Smart Production Solutions trade fair, the milling machine manufacturer GROB is presenting innovative solutions for the world of automation with its GROB-NET4Industry web application.

GROB-NET4Industry – Connected Production for Industry 4.0

A modular system that connects production processes across multiple plants. Its functions are diverse: internet connectivity for all machines, remote monitoring, ERP integration, analysis tools for process optimization, and much more.

GROB4TDX – Intelligent Tool Management

The module for efficient tool management. Through the COSCOM interface between GROB4TDX and ToolDIRECTOR VM, tool data is transmitted securely and reliably. During measurement in the tool presetting room, each tool is automatically identified to link the corresponding tool data and transmit it digitally to the central database. Identification can be done via barcode, DMC (Data Matrix Code), or RFID chip.
