DMW Machinen und Werkzeugbau GmbH (DMW Machine and Tool Manufacturing Ltd) is a classic “Mittelstand” company based in the Bavarian Forest.

It was founded by Ferdinand Dietz in 1982 and today it is a market leader in the development and manufacture of sophisticated tool making systems.

In January 2012, the company moved to new premises on the Linden industrial estate in Geiersthal, near Deggendorf.

Since its foundation the company has become one of the leading suppliers to the die-cutting industry – with many unique capabilities.
