EMUGE's circular thread milling bodies with exchangeable face insert are offered with additional diameters and a second, longer version for even greater flexibility when milling threads from 12 mm in diameter.
Thread milling cutters demonstrate their advantages in particular when taps or thread formers reach their limits in terms of diameters, tolerances, cutting forces, materials or machine performance. Circular thread milling bodies with exchangeable face inserts offer universal application possibilities, since different thread systems, thread diameters and thread pitches can be machined with just one face insert. In addition, they can be used in almost all materials, this variety leads to very economical thread production.
The ZIRK-GF product line with exchangeable face inserts was developed for milling internal or external threads. Two different TIALN-T4 coated exchangeable face inserts cover the thread systems M, MF, UN and G from a thread diameter of 12 mm.
Due to their design, they enable thread production right down to the bottom of the hole and generate only low cutting forces. For even more flexibility, the thread milling bodies available in 2 x D have been enhanced with a second length in 2.5 x D.
