    G83 and Z between Pecks

How do I get Z to rise between peck cycles? I tried to stick a Z1 between each pair of holes and that would not run.

Am I doing this right otherwise?

    Code:
    %
    G0
    Z1

    (drill 0.95)
    G83 X-0.1290 Y0.5580 Z-0.1400 R0.01 P1 Q0.0100 F100 L1
    X0.1290 Y0.5580

    X0.6330 Y0.3660

    X0.5480 Y-0.1680
    X0.4190 Y-0.3910

    X0 Y-0.7311

    X-.4190 Y-0.3910
    X-.5480 Y-0.1680

    X-0.6330 Y0.3660

    G80
    Z1
    X0Y0
    %
    Thanks.

If you use G98 G83, then after a hole is complete, the tool would retract to the initial height Z1, in your example.
In individual pecks, the retraction would be up to the R-point only, on Fanucs.

Thank you. G98 G83 is it. I should have seen that in my text. Thanks.

Doesn't matter. The purpose of the forum is to save your time; otherwise, everything is available in texts. I also learnt a lot through this forum.
