2006 Mori Seiki NL2500

Bar Puller used to work. Now the Z axis will not move with chuck unclamped (after M11).

This used to work...

I set the red light sensors at the back of the spindle to every combination of 'on' or 'off', this did not work.
I changed the 'chuck1 clamp direction from od chucking to id chucking' in Operation Panel, this did not work.

I need help solving this issue.
Do you have any suggestions?
