FFG Europe is a holding company conceived to integrate technologically advanced European machine tool manufacturers that possess technological excellence. The holding company currently includes a number of major Italian industrial companies and intends to establish its technological value on a European scale by adding more manufacturers from the old continent. The companies which are presently part of FFG Europe include: Jobs Automazione (Jobs and Sachman brands), worldwide leader in the production of high performance milling centres, located in Piacenza and Reggio Emilia; Rambaudi, a historical brand for machining centres and high speed, high chip removal milling machines, located in Rivoli; and Sigma Technology, which has been in business for over sixty years in the tooling engineering and vertical machining centre sector, located in Vigevano.
The transaction follows a strategic partnership signed at the beginning of 2012 between Jobs and the Taiwanese Fair Friend Group (FFG) as well as the previous acquisition of Rambaudi by FFG in 2010. In addition to the established industrial and technological platform of Jobs, Sachman, Rambaudi and Sigma, the exclusive features of FFG Europe mainly revolve around the expansion of the Group's competitive capacity through:
