We have a Bridgeport series 1 Interact machine fitted with TNC145 controller.

On rapid Z traverse away from work (never towards work) it gives a "Gross Position Error".

We have an Ajax lathe fitted with Fagor 800T controller.

I have a manual and schematics now but thank you to yourself and everyone else that offerred their help.

The drawbar is hydraulically operated from a pump so does not require compressed air.
On the wall or the rear of the machine there should be a regulator and gauge.
6.5 Bar or 100 psi is about...

Have you checked there is a good air supply?

Main thing I need is electrical schematics. If I can get a copy of a manitenance manual that would be even better. The machine is a series 1 Interact fitted with TNC145 controller.

Can anyone let me know where I can get a maintenance manual or at least an electrical schematic for a Series 1 Interact.
