About Gefasoft

The “GEFA Gesellschaft für Automatisierungstechnik mbH” was founded in April, 1984 by Ortwin Tischler, Franz Fuchs, and Heinz J. Rabe. The three leading shareholders still have the majority share of today’s GEFASOFT AG, a legal successor of the original GmbH, and are also still involved in operational management functions.

Our products – the object-oriented process visualization GraphPic and the scalable manufacturing execution system (MES) Legato are industry-neutral. Since the foundation of the company in 1984, the staff experience is concentrated on the field of discrete manufacturing. Due to the activities of system and distribution partners, you can find products and services of the GEFASOFT AG in various industries. The focus of the services is placed on the fields of Automotive, Pharma and Food, Energy Technology, and Building Management.
