About us

Mould-building specialists since 1924

HASCO's success story began with the founding of an engraving shop by Hugo Hasenclever. The company began making moulds for the plastics industry as early as 1930.

In 1960, his son, Rolf Hasenclever, invented the first modular system for the production of injection moulding tools. The arrival of these "standard mould units" triggered a productivity boost throughout the industry.

It meant that mould makers were able to deploy their staff and machine capacities so that they could concentrate on more discerning tasks. It also enabled throughput times to be reduced. Industrial production of the standard mould units also led to higher and more consistent quality, lower costs and availability ex stock.

At the end of the 1960s, HASCO's international success began with the setting up of the first branch in Vienna. This was followed by a number of other branches in Europe and then, in 1976, the first base in Asia, in Singapore. With the establishment of a subsidiary in the USA in 1985, HASCO became a truly global service partner.

Through permanent expansion of its product portfolio, also in the field of hot runner technology, HASCO can now justly call itself a full-service supplier for the production of plastic components and a specialist partner for mould making and tooling design.

Since HASCO became part of the Berndorf Group in 2007, Mag. Christoph Ehrlich has consistently continued the philosophy of the family company. By investing regularly in new production technologies and infrastructure, he has been setting the course for the company's future.

In close contact with its customers, HASCO will continue to develop innovative and reliable standards for the production of plastic components to make sure it stays that decisive one step ahead of the competition.
