TNC7
Through an intuitive, task-focused and personalized user experience, HEIDENHAIN TNC7 controls are unlocking new ways for machine tool manufacturers and users to program and operate their machines. Numerous smart software options such Model Aided Setup (MAS) and Dynamic Collision Monitoring (DCM) make this possible. MAS, for example, provides 6D graphical setup support, while DCM protects tools, fixtures and machine components.

Starting at EMO 2025, the 24-inch and 19-inch variants of the TNC7 will be able to perform shaping and cylindrical grinding operations. These new operations will round out the control’s done-in-one manufacturing capabilities while improving workpiece accuracy, contour fidelity and surface quality. Without rechucking the workpiece, TNC7 users will have milling, turning and grinding capabilities at their fingertips. The TNC7 and TNC7 basic will also offer new cylinder surface machining capabilities. In addition, new functions for graphical programming and simulation will further simplify the already intuitive user experience of TNC7 controls through improved user guidance and new analysis capabilities.

At EMO 2025, the TNC7 go is bringing the intuitive and pioneering user experience of the TNC7 family to vocational training and legacy machines. A particular highlight is the new “Graphical positioning” function. Instead of writing an NC program, the user simply draws the desired contour or pattern directly on the touchscreen. Position approach movements are handled by the control. As a straight-cut control that can also handle analog motors, the TNC7 go is the next-generation successor to the HEIDENHAIN TNC 128 control.
