TNC 640 – The new, high-end milling/turning control from HEIDENHAIN

For the first time, milling and turning are combined in one TNC. The TNC 640 therefore expands the TNC controls’ range of applications to the area of multi-operation machining. In the NC program, you can change as desired between turning and milling. And changing between turning and milling is particularly convenient and suited for daily use. There are almost no restrictions, since the switchover is completely independent of the momentary axis configuration.

The new and high-performance control is suited for HSC and 5-axis machining on machines with up to 18 axes.

Frequently recurring machining cycles that comprise several working steps are stored in the TNC 640 memory as standard cycles. They are programmed under conversational guidance and are supported by graphics that clearly illustrate the required input parameters.
