Economical surface grinding of machine knives
The four-axis CNC grinding machine RTS achieves economical surface and bevel grinding, e.g. on large machine knives and agricultural knives in a continuous process. The grinding machine is equipped with two grinding wheels with a diameter of 600 mm and two 55 kW grinding spindles. It works with a 1000 mm electromagnet with segmented pole pitch for throughfeed surface grinding. The machine is automatically loaded and unloaded via a magazine storage system.
