varia Polytec – the REAL centric vice with perfect accessibility
Asymmetry and eccentric clamping situations are a thing of the past! With our latest development, varia Polytec, you have a REAL self-centering vise with an ultra-short spindle, tool-free quick adjustment AND jaw change. This quick adjustment means that changeover times from the smallest clamping width of 6 to 306mm and a jaw width of 78 or 114mm melt down to just a few seconds. The ultra-short spindle gives you the ideal conditions for accessibility in five-axis machining on your large machines, regardless of whether they have a swivel head or swivel table machine. The clamping force is linear up to 50kN with only 100Nm of torque. Of course with the usual hemo precision, a repeatability of ≤10µm and the hemo clamping inserts, known from the varia Plus.
As the name suggests, the hemo varia Mini is the smallest center vise in our product portfolio for milling. The clamping range is 3 - 51mm with available jaw widths of 18, 28 or 40mm. Of course with the repeatability in the hemo league with ≤10µm. Even if it is small, it has a high clamping force of up to 12kN. The varia Mini is also optionally available in a stainless steel version, ideally suited not only for milling the smallest workpieces but also for EDM.
The varia product family started with the varia Plus. Here the benchmark was clearly set by our customers. The clamping device should be compact with minimal interference contours on the face side, precise, inexpensive and modular. With the varia Plus we were able to achieve even more. The hemo clamping inserts can be exchanged like indexable inserts as required. The clamping inserts are available in six different clamping contours. It doesn't matter whether it's precision machining for the 6th side, raw part clamping with hemo grip clamping inserts without pre-stamping, or compatibility with pre-stamping that is common on the market. We offer the right solution for all cases. The clamping force of the varia Plus is 30kN with a repeatability of ≤10µm. This gives you a plus in production optimization.
