The BCU1 series offers reliable quality for price-sensitive applications. With this series, a particularly price-attractive addition to the Expert product series has been created, which has been specially designed for universal machining. The grinding pattern, material and coating are optimized for an ideal price-performance ratio. Thanks to the universal BetaUni Iron coating, the BCU1 series is suitable even for machining demanding materials in roughing and finishing operations. This makes the milling cutters perfectly suited for price-sensitive use in almost all areas of application.
The EXM1 series convinces by its maximum resistance to different as well as demanding microstructures of stainless steels to process-safe machining and also to defy components such as nickel, manganese, tungsten or titanium.
The H&V EXN1 series has been developed to reliably machine potentially easily machinable materials and is specifically designed to meet the requirements of non-ferrous material machining. In the development of the new Expert series, the focus was on increasing tool life, the surface produced on the workpiece and process reliability.
The milling cutters are given a special cutting edge preparation with a defined edge rounding. This ensures homogeneous cutting edges throughout, uniform cutting force distribution and thus reduced wear. The manufacturing tolerances for radius and concentricity have been optimized to a maximum of 0.003 mm to 0.005 mm and ensure the best possible degree of accuracy. The new high-performance geometry with refined grinding pattern and tuned micro cutting edge ensures a sharp cut and excellent chip removal. The milling tools are rounded off by the use of a fine-grain substrate specially designed for machining non-ferrous materials. This interaction results in a unique performance capability. The portfolio comprises 40 article groups, consisting of shank, roughing, finishing, trochoidal, single-edge, toroidal, full-radius and micro milling cutters with diameters from 0.1 mm to 20 mm.
