Since 2009, IEMCA has launched a renewal process for the redefinition of technical standards and product range. The idea behind this project is to increase the bar feeders’ performance, reliability and ability to work independently by providing them with adequate equipment, so that they can ask for assistance when needed and what is more, be remotely controlled. On January 2017 IEMCA was the first and only Italian company manufacturer of bar feeders delivering Industry 4.0 machines. The new IEMCA bar feeders are 40% quicker, highly reliable, flexible and the only ones which, for now, can offer all Industry 4.0 services in plug&play mode (just power supply needed).
IEMCA Industry 4.0 solution consists of:
e-mailing and texting in the event of a machine alert;
telecontrol (with camera as well)
Remote control;
Global teleassistance on the machines’ equipment.
IEMCA devices are able to gather and share data with other customers’production chain’s machines, lathes above all.
These machines contribute to shape the digital factory of the future and improve the customer production process.
