ifm at AMB 2018
From 18 to 22 September, AMB 2018 will take place in Stuttgart – and as a cooperation partner of the companies Weiler and Steinmeyer, ifm will take part.
At AMB 2018, Steinmeyer and the ifm group of companies will present a technology concept for condition monitoring of ball screws in hall 2, stand 2D31. In this solution, which was specially developed for and in cooperation with Steinmeyer, predictive maintenance and automated data gathering in line with digitised production were implemented. Sensors detect the wear of critical machine components and transfer the information to ifm's LR SMARTOBSERVER.
Condition monitoring of machines and installations, energy consumption analysis, organisation of maintenance and quality assurance of the produced products – these are the advantages provided by the LR SMARTOBSERVER. In this application, the application software analyses the real-time data and optimises the maintenance plan for the service engineer team. This makes it possible to detect imminent problems at an early stage and take any necessary measures in time.
In hall 4, stand 4C31, the machine builder Weiler presents a condition monitoring system developed in cooperation with the ifm group of companies suitable for all lathes, regardless of type and manufacturer. The application detects, monitors and analyses process, machine and manufacturing data of any number of machines at different locations. All information can be displayed in browser-based applications, making it accessible via any PC, tablet or smartphone with the corresponding authorisation. WEILER will present the condition monitoring system developed in cooperation with the ifm group of companies using the example of an E70 HD cycle-controlled precision lathe.
