ifm wins video award together with the PIRATAS agency

The ifm product video "Knocking without touching" about the Kplus inductive sensor wins the silver dolphin in the category "Integrated communication" at this year's Cannes Corporate Media & TV Awards.

The Kplus inductive sensor, which replaced mechanical switching by induction and switching without contact is one of the first technologies ifm developed for the market. With a focus on "touching", the sensors are introduced in the product video "Knocking without touching" by means of boxing.

Hardly any sport involves so much physical contact as boxing: in the video, two boxers face each other in the ring, they flex their muscles, one of them hits - and his opponent's face gets pushed to one side. The particularity: this happens without an actual contact – which brings us to the Kplus sensors: "Knocking without touching".

With this video a well-known technology that has been around for decades is revived. The unusual image world has proven to be an excellent choice: the video has been awarded with a silver dolphin at the Cannes Corporate Media & TV Awards.

During a gala dinner on 28 September, the team who produced the Kplus video was awarded the silver dolphin in the category "Integrated communication". In this category, films and videos which are part of a bigger communication campaign are awarded. This year, the Cannes Corporate Media & TV Award was awarded for the eighth time.
