The Top Employers Institute has awarded the title "Top Employer 2019" to the ifm group of companies on account of excellent employee orientation. This year, the Top Employers Institute identified and awarded more than 1,300 Top Employers in 115 countries on five continents. The official award ceremony will take place in Düsseldorf on 12 February 2019.
The certification from the Top Employers Institute offers companies the chance to strengthen their employer branding, to compare their HR structures with other top performers and to harmonise their HR guidelines globally. Top Employers are companies with an excellent employee orientation that have been constantly improving and further developing their HR strategies. Thanks to the sustainable orientation of these HR strategies, the Top Employers create a working environment in which employees are supported and can advance.
About the certification
As an independent certification company, the Top Employers Institute rates companies on the basis of a global HR Best Practice survey. To obtain the certification, companies must meet the minimum requirements defined by the Top Employers Institute. The HR Best Practices Survey comprises 100 questions that analyse 600 practices from 10 areas of practice: talent strategy, personnel planing, talent acquisition, on-boarding, training and development, performance management, development of executives, career and succession planning, compensation and benefits as well as corporate culture. The Top Employers Institute rates in how far these aspects are supported by the strategic orientation, the integration of executives, adequate applications and their examination and by the use of technologies.
