ifm vibration diagnostics control lock maintenance intervals

Unforeseen errors and unplanned maintenance can lead to expensive downtime. If a lock no longer functions, many companies that use the river/canal as a traffic route for their goods are concerned. The showcase project in Eefde / Netherlands shows how it is possible to retrofit older lock systems so that maintenance can be predicted and downtime be reduced if not even prevented. This project also serves as a model for the implementation of another new lock. Vibration diagnostics make it possible.
