The O3D sensor in use between baggage check-in and loading of the aircraft

Beumer is a machine factory for the manufacture of conveyor systems and, among others, active in the field of baggage handling.
The O3D sensor from ifm plays a major role for the transport of baggage between the baggage check-in at the belt and loading of the aircraft.
After baggage check-in the sensor measures the dimensions of the pieces of luggage and automatically detects them before they pass into the automatic baggage handling system.
This ensures the quickest possible transport channel.
