Linear Unit KRF – maximum load-to-size ratio As a turnkey solution, Linear Unit KRF with its criss-crossed roller guide offers a high load-carrying capacity in a space-saving solution. Four high-strength steel tracks are installed directly into the profile contour of the support profile, which is just 40 mm wide, and serve as guides. The steel tracks are particular wear-resistant and create a rigid connection without edges, even over long stroke lengths. The sliding carriage, which is milled from a single block of high-strength aluminium , uses eight strong rollers aligned in a criss-cross pattern. This alignment means that instead of being installed at a 90° angle to the slide surface, the rollers are at a 45° or 135° angle. As a result, they run on the top and underside of the recess in the support profile.
