Since productronica 1977 – for more than 40 years – LACH DIAMANT has been manufacturing diamond and carbide tools for cutting, scoring, sawing and milling of all circuit boards and composite materials and is rightly seen as a pioneer in this industry as well.
Today, the mission to produce circuit board materials for the electronic industry ever faster and more efficient is not limited to PCB alone – aluminium and ceramics are other long-established base materials in manufacturing technology.
Years ago, for example, the “inflamed” development of LED lights for the automobile industry and the corresponding new production technologies were only a beginning.
Regarding “E-Mobility”, LACH DIAMANT looks back to polycrystalline diamond turning tools (PCD) which were already developed for commutator manufacturer Kautt & Bux (today Kollektor) in 1979, as well as for copper commutator manufacturers Bosch, Siemens, Miele and others.
In the future, copper commutators will also be indispensable for servomotors in electric cars.
