We develop and produce standardised and customer-specific cables and cable systems, as well as an increasing number of innovative, integrated system solutions with a high proportion of engineering and service for industrial applications at 19 sites throughout the world. This wide range of products is marketed by a global sales organisation.

We have been Europe’s leading manufacturer of fieldbus cables for many years. Customers are industrial suppliers, for whom we also supply fully assembled cable systems for a wide variety of processing machines, or also handle the complete installation of individual modules.

The LEONI product portfolio ranges from round cables, diameter and transfer optimised coaxial cables, hybrid cables with combined control, data and power lines and integrated fibre optical cables and polyurethane hoses, spiral round cables and ribbon cables to highly specialised miniaturised cables, defence equipment cables or clean room cables. As well as excellent electrical and mechanical characteristics, the group’s technological superiority in this area is also due to the combination of a wide range of different materials and many years of experience. The demand here is for resistance to oil and chemicals and welding flux, as well as flame-proof or radiation-proof versions.

For industrial robotics, we provide dresspacks with pneumatic, hydraulic and electrical components, as well as solutions in the field of sensor technology and vision, such as tool calibration and seam tracking. Moreover, this is complemented by an extensive industrial service portfolio. Following the motto “Reduce your down time”, preventive maintenance and repairs are carried out, cycle times are optimized and robotic trainings are offered. We use this know-how to convince robot manufacturers as well as robot users, such as production line and mechanical engineering businesses and automotive suppliers and manufacturers worldwide.
