New Series 278 3xD to launch at EMO

One of the key new products we’re introducing at EMO Hannover is a 3xD addition to our TuffCut® XT Series 278 range of high performance end mills for machining ISO P; M; S; K & H materials.

Combining our ALtima® Blaze coating with a 5-flute design, optimised for roughing and finishing, the 3xD flute length allows deeper axial engagement while the variable helix and flute spacing improve machining harmonics.

The new 278 3xD is available in diameters from 8.0mm to 16.0mm with either square end or radius options, as well as standard or Weldon shanks.
