These are the main features with Spark Ti, the 5-axis HMC designed by Mandelli for titanium, steel and HRSA alloys machining to ensure extraordinary stock removal on complex shapes avoiding critical frequencies. A continuously controlled high-torque tilting head, a dual drive rotary axis generating a 12,000 Nm torque equipped with an automatic backlash recovery system and vibration dissipation systems on all the axes providing the tool with the best working conditions are the heart of Spark Ti, performing 5-axis roughing operations resulting in shapes next to the finished work-piece. A working pressure over 100 bar and HSK100 or 125 tapers provide considerable lubricant flow to the tool to guarantee a significant decrease in the operating temperatures and improved chip removal.
