About MeliCon
MeliCon was founded in 2001 with the focus on the engenieering and production of metallic
lightweight components.
In the following years the development of two innovative product lines, MeliFil metall fibre fleece for hot gas filtration and MeliPlate wire mesh laminate for solid/liquid separation, opened the way to new important markets.
From 2016, we started the standardization of the product lines for hot gas filtration.
Basing on the MeliPlate we developed the product line SilentMetal together with our partner PFW Aerospace GmbH. A metallic wire mesh laminate for sound absorption, which was awarded the 1st prize of the Airtec Awards 2006 in Frankfurt as the most innovative product.
The next step was to supply the single sound absorbing product with the necessary stiffness so it can be used as a sound absorbing structural part. The product line SilentStructure was born – and introduced to the public on the „Path of Innnovation“ on ILA 2008 in Berlin.
Today, well-known companies in the field of plant and mechanical engineering belong to our regular customer base.
