About MIMplus
The internationally active family company OBE Ohnmacht & Baumgaertner GmbH & Co KG with its headquarter in Ispringen is today one of the world-wide leading large-scale manufacturers of precision mechanical metal parts.
OBE has established itself as a key supplier for the optical industry since its founding in 1904 in particular due to its role in developing spectacle hinges.
OBE also manufactures complex and high-precision components using the innovative MIM process in our mimplus® Business unit for 20 years.
Our customers from the automotive, aerospace, medical and consumer industry value our comprehensive and competent service at all stages in a project, from development support at the beginning right the serial production and assembly of components.
Starting in 2019 we will continue our metal injection moulding activities in a 100 % subsidiary company of the OBE Ohnmacht & Baumgärtner GmbH & Co. KG the MIMplus Technology GmbH & Co. KG.
The production plant in Ispringen in the Northern Black Forest is characterized by modern manufacturing methods and an integrated quality management system that guarantees a continually high production standard. OBE manufacturers according to the guidelines laid down in DIN ISO 9001:2015, ISO / TS 16949, DIN EN ISO 14001 and EMAS.
With world-wide over 500 employees OBE has three subsidiaries in Italy, Hong Kong and China as well as further representations in Japan, South Korea, France and Brazil.
