MPDV takes over the Felten Group
Opening doors to the market for production-IT
Today, MPDV is the market leader for IT solutions for the Smart Factory in the field of discrete production. With the addition of the Felten Group to the MPDV Group, the Mosbach-based software provider also gains access to process production companies.
"So far, we have only rarely encountered the Felten Group during projects", explains Nathalie Kletti, member of the MPDV management board, "a clear sign that we are making a valuable move by joining the Felten Group with the MPDV Group". Werner Felten, founder and managing director of the Felten Group adds: "In times of accelerating innovation cycles and rapidly advancing digitization, it makes sense to consolidate know-how in order to act even stronger on the market collectively. In the MPDV Group we benefit from over 30 years’ experience and contribute this expertise to the process industry. Together we want to exploit as many synergies as possible."
Felten Group and MPDV
With 50 employees and locations in Germany and Luxembourg, Felten has implemented production management projects in around three dozen countries around the world. After incorporating the Felten Group into the MPDV Group, they will continue to exist as an independent entity and a 100% subsidiary. Nathalie Kletti is appointed to the management of Felten, a position previously held by the founder Werner Felten alone. Together, we want to keep the existing structures and expand them. In total, the MPDV Group currently employs around 500 people at 15 locations worldwide and recorded group sales of 67 million Euros last year.
