Nuova Metaltre has implemented EN 14502-2, with all its differences compared to hydraulic elevators made for the civil sector, developing its own specific solution. According to EN 14502-2, elevating platforms for machine tools cannot manage the descent with gravity alone.

The development of the project has been verified taking into consideration aspects of ergonomics and standardization of the system.

Nuova Metaltre has studied its own chain-operated product that complies with all harmonized standards and also complies with Annex 4 of the Machinery Directive. Equipped with its own parachute system, it has the possibility of unlocking in the event of a power failure directly in the cabin and it alows to programme the production customizing it based on the client's aesthetic and dimensional needs.
