About Poltava Diamond Tools
The history of the company began in 1966 as the Poltava Artificial Diamond and Diamond Tools Plant after the country's leadership set the task of developing and mastering the technology of diamond synthesis and diamond tools manufacturing.
In 1966, diamond powder was synthesised at the plant for the first time. In a short time, the plant became the largest producer of synthetic diamond abrasives and micro powders in the USSR.
In 1967 - 1968, the production of a wide range of diamond grinding wheels on organic and metallic discs was mastered.
During the work of the company more than 9000 names of diamond tools were developed and mastered.
In 2001, the ISO 9001 quality management system was introduced in the company. The effectiveness of our quality management system was confirmed by the world leading company BUREAU VERITAS Certification.
After restructuring in 2005, our production of diamond tools was split into the separate company POLTAVSKY ALMARZONY INSTRUMENT PJSC, which is the legal successor of the Poltava Artificial Diamond and Diamond Tools Plant.
In 2011, the production of high-performance PREMIUM tools for CNC machines was started. Thanks to the scientific and production base and the great experience of our technologists, the technical characteristics are constantly improved according to customer requirements. In 2017, the company's products were certified for compliance with EN13236 safety requirements in order to succeed in international markets.
In 2018, the production of diamond dressing rolls for dressing grinding wheels in the production of turbine blades, gears, crankshafts, etc. was mastered. Also in 2018, the production of segmental cutting discs and drills for cutting construction materials, asphalt, refractory materials and natural stone was started.
All tools are manufactured on modern Dr. Fritsch equipment. In 2019, the production of ceramic-bonded CBN grinding wheels was mastered.
