About PSI Automotive & Industry
The PSI Software AG has been providing software for the optimization of production processes since 1969. At the end of the 1990s this business unit was carved out as a wholly-owned subsidiary under the name of PSIPENTA Software Systems GmbH. Since 1 January 2016, the company has continued its business activities under the name of PSI Automotive & Industry GmbH.
As one of the largest independent companies in the PSI Software AG and in cooperation with major companies, market leading medium-sized enterprises and renowned research institutes, the company develops and delivers modular integrated solutions under the product brand PSIpenta, amongst other things for:
• Production planning and control (ERP, MES)
• Mobile solutions (industrial apps)
• Adaptive manufacturing control
• Just-in-sequence production (JIS)
• Sequence optimization (Qualicision®)

Larger medium-sized enterprises and corporations frequently apply ERP solutions with a commercial focus. For production control these are traditionally conceived very inflexibly and do not provide sufficient functions for specific sector requirements.
