New RoboJob products draw visitors to Hannover

robojob news Image

The EMO trade fair in Hannover has finally taken off. The metalworking world has been gathering in Hannover for this giant trade fair since Monday. And of course this includes RoboJob: the market leader in CNC automation is, as we know, presenting 2 brand new concepts and with these, attracting a lot of curious visitors to its stand.

The fact the RoboJob would also pull out all the stops at the EMO fair with something new was actually already written in the stars. The market leader in CNC automation indeed turns out at every large trade fair with new products, modular extensions or other innovations. For example, last year, it presented its new control system at the AMB fair in Stuttgart, and the Turn-Assist Racks system was unveiled at the Techni-Show.

The EMO fair is the world's most important metals fair and so the Belgian automation specialist is going for it big time: RoboJob is sparing no expense with 2 completely new concepts on its own exhibition stand in Hall 25.

Turn-Assist 200i

The Turn-Assist 200i is the first 'integrated' model from RoboJob, with which the entire automation unit was built on to a single fixed frame. When doing this the workpiece feed and removal, the robot, the operating console and the safety features were all assembled on to one chassis. This offers the benefit of being able to move these automation units very easily from one CNC machine to another. Using a pallet jack or forklift truck, the automation can be moved quickly and easily from one machine to another and one can set to work right away.

With this new product we’re able to answer our customers’ demand for the use of a single automation on multiple CNC machines,” says CEO Helmut De Roovere. “Furthermore, while this new Turn-Assist 200i is extremely compact, it offers surprisingly high capacity thanks to our patented stacking principle.”

Impressive Tower

It is nevertheless the imposing Tower that will walk away with the attention in Hall 25. The ascending tower doesn’t only demonstrate single ‘workpiece loading', it is also capable of the loading and unloading of clamping units.

The hordes of visitors are already almost able to taste it: According to one enthusiastic client: “Using this tower, you’re immediately taking a significant step forward in ‘CNC automation’. I hear that the Tower can even load all the tools, allowing you to produce single pieces and serial work together. And that’s every machinist’s dream!” he acclaimed. His employee agrees: "If we buy such a Tower, my job is going to be far less physical and also less stressful!"

Robot grippers too, plus all the tools needed for the machining of a component can actually be stored in the Tower. In a subsequent version of the Tower, these will automatically be able to be placed in the machine whenever necessary. In this way the ‘Tower’ will take care of the entire preparation of the machine, both for serial work and single pieces.

Multiple stands:

It will not escape the attentive EMO visitor that RoboJob’s solutions can also be viewed and admired on numerous exhibition stands. Apart from on stand E94 in Hall 25, you can also see the RoboJob products on the Doosan, Kitagawa, Okuma and Quaser stands.

The EMO fair takes place at the Hannover Messe, and is still running up to and including Saturday 23 September. You will find RoboJob in Hall 25, on stand number E 94.
