First in CNC Automation

RoboJob confirms growth with new records

“An absolute top year.” With these words, a proud Helmut De Roovere, CEO of RoboJob, together with his entire team, closes the year 2018. The market leader in CNC automation has once again broken all records last year, thus raising the bar for 2019.

Just before Christmas, De Roovere called all RoboJob employees together, prior to the holidays starting for several colleagues. After all, with new records in sales, installations, turnover and also with lots of new faces, glasses could be raised for a top year. Not surprisingly, De Roovere can be proud of his people: “I want to pay a great compliment to our entire team. In 2018, we not only sold more systems than ever before, there are many other achievements that we can also be proud of."

New product portfolio

In 2018, the entire product range was subjected to a thorough review: all Turn and Mill-Assist models are now available in both Integrated and Separated versions. In addition, the customer can also choose from different types of stackable 'Racks' or the Tower.

New countries

The doors have also been opened to 2 new countries with the acquirement of 2 new dealers: Overmach in Italy and Intermaher in Spain. It means that RoboJob now has customers and dealers throughout Western Europe, from Kvernaland in Norway to Milan in Italy.

New employees

The CNC specialist could only achieve this by means of investing heavily in its workforce. It means that more than 10 new faces were recruited at RoboJob. "We’ve brought in people to every department. 2018 was a year of strong growth, and in order to achieve that, you need people. Once again, we’ve invested heavily in both young blood and experienced guides. In doing so, we strive for the ideal mix to assist our customers and partners as well as possible", says De Roovere.

New building

RoboJob was able to end the year in its new building, which it moved into in May 2018. "This move came out of pure necessity," says De Roovere. "After all, our previous location had become too small to give everyone a good place to work, and in time, this business location will also become too small," says De Roovere looking ahead. "In a few years' time, we want to build an entirely new building, a kilometre away from here. Until then, in this temporary accommodation, we’ll have the opportunity to gain a better understanding of how we can optimally design our new building in order to continue to grow there".

At RoboJob, 2018 will not only go down in history as a top year, but also as a year in which the foundations were laid for a solid organization. In conclusion, De Roovere says "We are therefore completely ready to make 2019 a new top year".
