The company RUF designs and manufactures hydraulic briquetting systems for the briquetting of wood, metal and numerous other residues. The throughput rates range from 20 to 4,800 kg / h.

For throughput rates between 30 and 4,800 kg/hr. Depending on the need, our briquette systems are equipped with hydraulic motors between 4 and 90 kW. They will achieve a specific pressure of up to 5,000 kg/cm². For throughput rates between 40 and 350 kg/hr. Depending on the need, our briquette presses for sludge are equipped with hydraulic motors between 4 and 22 kW. They will achieve a specific pressure of up to 3,800 kg/cm². Advantages: - Recycling of expensive cooling lubricants - Significant reduction of volume and weight of the materials through making briquettes, so that disposal costs will be reduced - Briquettes with defined remaining moisture - Potential profits from the sale of briquettes - Sludge briquettes are not classified as hazardous waste - Storage without dripping containers and the development of bacteria - No danger to the water supply and soil from cooling lubricant runoff

For throughput rates between 30 and 1,500 kg/hr. Depending on the need, our briquetting presses are equipped with hydraulic motors between 3 and 90 kW. RUF systems operate with specific pressures up to 1,700 kg/ cm² for wood or other organic materials. Suitable for wood (shavings, sawdust, wood chips, bark and so forth) as well as other organic materials like cotton, tobacco and elephant grass. The remaining water content must be less than 15% in order to create briquettes with consistent quality and thickness. Advantages: - RUF wood briquettes are less expensive, easily flammable fuel sources with exceptional flammability - Reduction of volume - Removal of dust - Simplified storage and transportation
