Multi-spindle bar automatics
A 36 PC
Range PC ? Fast, precise, powerful
Automatics in the PC series are machining centres and are used whenever classic cam-controlled automatics reach their limits. Their range of functions goes far beyond that of turning. Tapping, mill cutting, polygon turning and eccentric drilling operations make complete machining of geometrically complex workpieces possible. Six or eight work spindles, endworking and cross slides that can be controlled independently of one another as well as rear-side machining with up to three tools are standard. The Schütte programming system SICS 2000 can be used for simple control of more than 56 axes.
PC multi-spindle automatics are designed for material removal of geometrically sophisticated parts made of hard solid materials. Wide gashes and complex drilling operations are part of your daily production operations. The machines are designed to be robust, durable and technically flexible.
The ACX 36 consistently combines the features of the proven classic multi-spindle automatic lathe in terms of: speed, rigidity, reliability and productivity. The new ACX can always be adapted exactly to the needs of the customer's respective product range. For complicated parts with an extensive machining scope, it enables a significantly better division of the work steps compared to a 6-spindle machine. Another interesting feature is the possibility of double 4-spindle operation. This means that two identical parts can be produced at the same time, which are less complex and thus require only 4 main spindles each. For workpieces with extensive side machining, the machining cycle with two counter spindles is provided. Here, two machine cycles are available for machining the tapping side of the workpiece. With its different operating modes, the ACX offers the correct solution for every workpiece! Translated with DeepL
Decreasing batch sizes due to the individualization of products and just-in-time production are presenting industrial manufacturing with new competitive challenges. With the new ECX series, Schütte offers precisely the solution for this: a highly productive new single-spindle automatic lathe for batch sizes below the sensible or economic application limit of multi-spindle machines. The ECX is perfectly suited for the complete machining of complex workpieces in medium lot sizes and with new materials. It combines the flexibility and easy handling of single-spindle machines with the productivity of multispindle machines, thus closing the gap between the two worlds; Translated with DeepL
Series SCX ? the new generation With its SCX-32 Schütte has introduced the first member of a new generation of multi-spindle automatics. The series SCX realises in full, and for the first time, the vision of the ?Multi single-spindle automatic? that provides access to a variety of machining processes as part of a highly productive machine concept that makes resetting easy and operation simple. The SCX combines the tried and tested features of the classical multi-spindle auto in puncto: speed, rigidity, reliability and productivity with the demands made on modern NC machines: functionality, precision, flexibility and ease of operation and resetting. The design of the SCX opens up a completely new dimension in the machining of the second, i.e. the part-off side of the component. The second side is machined in two more stations. These consist of two additional spindles and two fully fledged machining units, from which up to 6 tools finish-machine the component in two cycles.
