SCM SPINDLE DIVISION
SCM srl is a well-known Italian company founded in 1972, whose core business is the design and manufacturing of technical chucks for machine-tool. In January 2018, SCM establish a new department: SCM SPINDLE DIVISION.
Each individual department of SCM SPINDLE DIVISION, (planning, manufacturing, assembly and testing) take advantage of the contribution of highly trained and expert technicians, who gained a multi-year experience at the most important European producers.
Ensuring accuracy and reliability is the primary goal, that is why even small details are accurately checked: all rotating parts are submitted to an accurate dynamic balancing up to grade G.04; the bearings used are mainly ABEC 9, limiting Rotation errors to 0.001 (radial) and to 0.002 mm (axial); all data are recorded on a test certificate.
The spindles are equipped with highly efficient motors.
SCM SPINDLE DIVISION, integrated in Murisengo’s production plant, headquarters of SCM srl, may rely on its turning / milling and grinding departments. The internal production of all main components ensures complete control of the production process.
This division produces:
-milling electrospindles and spindles;
- grinding electrospindles and spindles.
Moreover, SCM SPINDLE DIVISION offers to its customers a reliable repair service, both on its own products and on spindles coming from the most important brands in the market.
