The story of Cosmotec begins in 1989, in Peschiera del Garda, born from the dream of individuals who strongly believed in their experience in the field of industrial conditioning and in sharing it with their customers.

Shortly after the production of the first units and the start of exporting worldwide, there arose the need to expand the range of products to meet all thermal management needs. Thus, the line of industrial refrigeration was born, an important challenge that saw Cosmotec “competing” on equal terms with major players in the industry, but asserting its most distinctive trait: working closely with customers to provide products and solutions capable of meeting their needs.

The approach adopted to meet market demands is agile and effective, a typical example of Italian flexibility, which combines with the solidity represented by the German group STULZ, of which Cosmotec became a part in 2001. With the arrival of STULZ, the product lines expanded, including telecommunications and new ranges of chillers with increasingly higher powers.

The pace of product renewal grew dramatically, and to keep up with market demands, Cosmotec decided to invest in employee training, production quality and efficiency, product engineering, and also expanded its production area with new lines and a state-of-the-art climatic chamber.

Today, the company’s efforts are focused on maintaining the efficiency and flexibility of its product ranges at the highest levels. For this reason, an “Innovation Center” has been established to allow the development and testing of new technologies that meet the sustainability and efficiency requirements demanded by today’s market.
