Straightening Automat with SFFS straightening technology
With the patented SFFS straightening technology [Shear-Force-Free-Straightening] the required process forces are introduced exclusively via the material ends. This means that, among other things, finished products can be straightened without straightening marks on the surface. It is essential that residual stress in the material is reduced as a result of the shear force free straightening technology.
The straightening process is applicable for the following materials: - Metallic bars, tubes and hollow profiles with rotation symmetric or almost rotation symmetric cross-section - Finished- and semi-finished products as well as raw materials
WIDE RANGE OF APPLICATIONS Straightening of semi-finished products and already machined parts, e.g. lead screws, racks, etc.
SUPERIOR SURFACE QUALITY No straightening marks due to shear force free straightening technology -> straightening/post-straightening of finished parts possible.
REDUCTION OF RESIDUAL STRESS Due to the SFFS straightening technology residual stress in the material will be reduced -> advantage for subsequent machining of the straightened materials.
VARIABLE MACHINE CONCEPTS Standalone solutions up to fully automatic production cells -> straightening automats with manual or robot handling, with integrated straightness control unit, linked with automatic lathes with bar loader, etc.
