LightPulse LASER PRECISION
The company LightPulse LASER PRECISION was launched in 2018 by the two founders Daniel Förster and Dr.-Ing. Christian Freitag. The spin-off from the University of Stuttgart is based on the founders' scientific work at the Institut für Strahlwerkzeuge (IFSW). With the foundation, they want to make a decisive contribution to the successful implementation of the technology of ultrashort pulse laser material processing in industrial applications.

LightPulse LASER PRECISION is an independent service provider for micromachining processes with the ultrashort pulse laser. Every day, we are enthusiastically engaged in further optimising ultrashort pulse laser processes in order to offer our customers the best possible results. We only say "no go" if the desired process is actually physically impossible. Otherwise, we do everything we can to optimally implement our customers' applications. Our goal is to make your application a success!
In 2018, the transfer and start-up company LightPulse was founded at the Technologie-Transfer-Initiative GmbH at the University of Stuttgart. The potential of a service provider for micromachining with ultrashort pulse lasers was recognised with an EXIST start-up grant in 2019. Subsequently, the project was funded in 2020 as part of the Young Innovators programme of the Baden-Württemberg Ministry of Science, Research and the Arts. Since 2021, LightPulse LASER PRECISION has been a start-up successfully standing on its own two feet.
