The TTS-255.01 spindle is a high-performance turn-mill motor spindle with a diameter of Ø255 mm and a maximum speed of 12,000 rpm under an oil-air lubrication system. It is equipped with a Swiss-built built-in motor, ensuring high efficiency and long-term operational stability. The front bearing bore diameter is 70 mm, providing excellent rigidity. Axial rigidity can be standardized or customized according to customer requirements. At a rated speed of 3,000 rpm, the spindle achieves a maximum vibration frequency of 800 Hz, ensuring stable operation.
In terms of performance, the continuous power rating (S1) is 25.1 kW at 72 A, while under an S6-40% duty cycle it reaches 33.9 kW at 97 A. The peak power output is 52.8 kW. Torque delivery is 79.9 Nm in continuous operation (S1) and up to 107.9 Nm under S6-40% conditions, meeting the demands of heavy-duty machining.
The spindle supports multiple tool interfaces, including HSK-T63 and Capto C6, and has a total weight of approximately 195 kg.
Optional features include an integral encoder for closed-loop control and coolant-through-shaft (CTS) capability. Tool position detection can be realized using proximity switches or analog sensors, and a front bearing temperature sensor is provided as standard to ensure machining precision and operational safety.
