ultraTEC Anlagentechnik Münz GmbH was founded in May 2019 by Iris and Dieter Münz. The company produces innovative ultrasonic deburring machines. This is a significantly more efficient and economical process than conventional methods.

The idea came about during a project on the machine deburring of bone screws made of titanium as part of Jugend forscht. The two young researchers Jonas Münz and Jakob Rehberger received the National Award 2019 - Prize of the Federal President for an exceptional piece of work. They were supervised by Dieter Münz.

Through further research and development, we are now able to deburr a wide variety of components made of different materials with a strength of up to 1100N/mm² in a process-safe manner.
